LONESOME DJ DAVE & MEG ASHLING at the RITZ THEATER

Brian Just and band will not be the only players for this extravagant celebration Saturday at the majestic Ritz Theater of Minneapolis. Here is PART ONE of the introduction to the other players of the evening:

LONESOME DJ DAVE of the incomparable Hymies Records Store fame will be spinning his impressive record collection in between sets with songs inspired by the Bands of the evening as well as the album Enlightenment. With a ever present focus on the b-sides and lost 45 diamonds in the rough you will never feel Lonesome but feel right at home with his good ear for turning you on to history and love of the endless possibilities and dreaminess of Vinyl.

PART TWO Meg Ashling will be joining us as well on this lovely Saturday evening at the Ritz.
Meg collects songs and ideas from the breathtaking beauty of nature and falls in love with each image she shares with her audience. With lyrics that bring to light her openness and appreciation of our history and need for peace, Meg is not a person you can take your eyes off of or ignore. As she has been living and working on a farm 3 hours West of the Twin Cities this is a very special appearance from Meg and a very special setting to hear her voice bouncing off the walls of a silent theater.
