We will be celebrating the winter holiday season this Thursday at the Schooner with some Christmas favorites, new original songs as well as our random assortment of jingle bell jangly tunes from the past. We'd luv to see you there! Guaraldi and Wood approved! In 2024, friends Brian Just, Clay Williams, and Kent Militzer wanted to revisit the cosmic country and harmony vocals they had enjoyed playing in their former band, The Blackberry Brandy Boys (2011-2015). The band solidified their lineup with the additions of frequent BBB guest Dave Boquist and Clay's Dieselfitter bandmates Dan Peterson and John Sandbo - and The Wandering Suns was born.
Drawing inspiration from legendary artists such as the Byrds, Flying Burrito Brothers, Neil Young, George Jones, Arlo Guthrie, Michael Nesmith, Grin, and Manassas; The Wandering Suns deliver a unique blend of original compositions and cover songs that pay homage to the rich tapestry of Americana music. April 27th 7-9pm @ Carbones Pizza and Pub Ever wanted to be part of a live recording? Here's your chance! In celebration of six months of psychedelic explorations MILITZËR will be doing two full sets and recording the whole night! One set of our greatest hits (sic) and a second set of flying close to the sun without a net - 100% improv. If you've been to any of the previous shows you know that these nights are one of a kind shows that by their nature can't be repeated. And we've been asked a few times if there are any recordings available. Well now there will be!

“I can't sing so I use the voice as an instrument. I'm not so much interested in anything in particular, that's why I sing about nothing. I improvise melody and texture too. Sometimes it sounds like English, French or German, but it really is the language of the Stone Age.” -Damo SazukiKosmische Exploratorium kicks off with S01:EP01 Wednesday Nov 11th.
Every third Wednesday your hosts MILITZËR gather brave sonic adventurers for an evening of sight and sound at the Eagles 34.
